Supply Conditions:
1. Wire Rod in Coil: 5.5-20.0 mm (naked packing or in plastic paper)
2. Semi-finished Wire: 1.0-10.0 mm (in coil or cut length in box)
3. Welding wire/Finished wire: 0.8-5.0 mm (in spool or in box)
Introduce: ER420 is similar to ER410 except it contains a higher carbon content and a semi higher hardness of weld deposits, which increases wear resistance. ER420 is often used for surfacing applications that require a resistance to corrosion and abrasion. This alloy requires preheat and interpass temperatures no lower than 400°F followed by slow cooling.
