904L is a grade of super austenitic steel, partially classified as nickel alloys. Provided in the form of long and flat products, it is used mainly in the chemical, energy and petrochemical industries, showing resistance to various concentrations at high temperatures of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and orthophosphoric acid.

904L and its substitutes belong to the group of steels resistant to intercrystalline corrosion in delivery and sensitized condition, which goes hand in hand with resistance to pitting and stress corrosion. In addition, it is characterized by increased slit and pitting corrosion resistance, and good weldability. in the manner of TMT, the supersaturation is carried out at temperatures of 1050 - 1150 ℃ and forging and rolling at 900 - 1200 ℃.
